Instructions for applying to work with the Born in Bradford project

If you are interested in developing a research proposal working with the Born in Bradford (BiB) project or would like to access BiB data to use in a piece of work you wish to undertake you will need to complete a proforma outlining your project.

It is important that you look through ‘Guidance for Collaborators’ before completing and returning your application form.

All proforma are considered by the Executive Committee who meet on a monthly basis. More information may be requested by us before our decision is made.  Once the proposal has been discussed we will contact you directly with our decision and inform you about what to you need to do next.

We have
two proforma (in MS Word) – please complete the one that seems most relevant to you and return it to Born in Bradford’s Programme Manager, Pauline Raynor.

1. Expression of Interest Proforma – please complete this if you have an idea for a piece of research you are interested in doing but have not finalised the details and you want to find out if working with BiB would be useful for your research - click here

2.
Research Proposal and Data Request Proforma – please complete this if you have a detailed proposal and know what BiB data you would like to access.  If the executive approve your application, and you wish to proceed, then you will be asked to complete a Lay Proforma and sign a Data Transfer Agreement which will be sent to you if your application is approved - click here
