Born in Bradford: The annual Teddy Bears Picnic:
2011
Around 2,000 Bradfordians attended the 2011 Teddy
Bears’ Picnic in Lister Park. This film captures
some of the excitement, the sounds and the
activities that families enjoyed on the day. You can
also hear Born in Bradford mums commenting on why
they joined this long term health research project
and what areas of health research are important to
them.

Born in Bradford: Working with Jamie Oliver’s
Ministry of Food, Bradford
Born in Bradford worked together with The Ministry
of Food, Bradford to host 6 sessions in Children’s
Centres around the city. Parents were invited to
learn new recipes and cooking skills and to discuss
attitudes to health and ways for their families to
be healthy.
